When in the pretty funky part of Calgary called Kensington recently , I stumbled across several second hand and vintage boutiques. Me being the 50s and vintage lover that I am I obviously could not resist. I was browsing around with my boyfriend and his Mum, Laila and we came across the shoe section. Immediately a pair of red boots caught my eye and just as I was reaching for them Laila grabbed them and handed them to me. I checked the size and found that they were my size (clearly fate intervening here). I tried them on and could not resist. We all agreed that I could not leave the shop without them and my boyfriend being the lovely man he is bought them for me. They were 26 dollars (£17 and dhs 93) which I was in shock about, as that's generally unheard of for vintage or even second hand items. They are in good condition with a few marks on them which I easily wiped off with a damp cloth. I can't wait to pair them with any simple outfit to really add a pop of colour and liven it right up.
Thanks for reading xo
