Red, White and Blue

A few days after purchasing my boots I found the perfect opportunity and outfit to wear them. I always love wearing navy with red for a 50s pin up girl nautical look.

 I kept the outfit pretty simple with a striped navy tee (H&M) and jeggings (New Look) and as its been pretty hot I pulled my hair back to keep it off my neck and plaited it to add to the nautical feel, adding my red bow (American Apparel) to the top of my pony tail. 

 For my makeup I went for a red lip to pull the look together from top to toe. I did a classic cat eye with fairly matte makeup. I then threw on my red boots to add the finishing touches to my nautical pin-up look. I love this outfit and will definitely be re-wearing this throughout the autumn with a denim jacket and maybe a slouchy tea cosy hat.
