Rouge

Hello everyone. It's been a while. Welcome back. Life has changed a lot since my last post. I've now completed my University degree in Fashion Management. I'm now a graduate... and fully fledged adult (sort of). I'm also engaged. As you can imagine the last 4 years have been a whirlwind of fun, a few tears (especially final year) and a lot of new experiences. I'm now starting a new chapter in my life and career and have started the job search. So, I can't think of a better time to start writing again, this time for fun and not for a dissertation!

So here goes! This above photo was taken on the hotel room balcony during our holiday to the Canary Islands recently - it was a stunning view. The dress pictured is a floral off the shoulder maxi dress from River Island (now sold out) with cutaway sleeves and a tie cuff.

I paired the dress with a Topshop black Western belt (sadly also sold out however they do sell similar), Kurt Geiger espadrilles (similar) and Ted Baker cat bag. 

In terms of make-up, I've been using one eyeshadow palette religiously since April, the Too Faced Natural Love palette (after tagging Siina in multiple posts on Instagram he surprised me with it for our anniversary). I went for fairly neutral tones with a bit of shimmer on the eyes and Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Outlaw on the lips. If you've been following for a while, you'll know I can't resist a red lip and as the name suggests, this one lasts ages (even through a couple of cocktails and a lot of buffet food).
