Aquamarine

I wore this outfit for a mini shopping trip to Kensington on a particularly sunny day in Calgary. 

I found this wonderful skirt (Material Girl) while here in Canada, it was on sale and I just could not resist the way that the contrasting stripey and pasiley patterns were put together and work so beautifully. As I wanted the skirt to speak for itself I wore it with the simple black lace top (H&M) and my trusty black gladiators (Bershka). 

For my makeup I followed some of the tones in the skirt with a soft grey eyeshadow and green in the inner corners. I applied a hot pink lip (Apocaliptic- Rimmel Apocalips) because I always love a bright lip- especially in summer!
