Home-made shorts

 These are a pair of shorts I made about a year ago now, they were originally jeans, but being the stretch type, they started to loose their stretchiness and started to become baggy around the thigh and knee area. I solved this by making them into a pair of shorts, but also keeping my favourite comfortable jeans.

I have a slight obsession with black lace, and I usually love anything black and lacy. SO I decided to add some black lace that I got from Hobby Craft in England to the bottom of the shorts and to the back pockets. I also added the studs details that can be seen on the front of the shorts near the seams, I actually pulled the studs off another accessory that I didn't want studs on. I also distressed the front of the shorts, which unfortunately you can't see very well in the pictures, and scraped through to make them appear more edgy. In some places I accidentally made cuts when doing this, but I added some black lace under the holes, which I feel is quite effective. :D
