Mermaid Grey

Sorry I haven't been posting regularly! I have been really busy with holidays and what not. Now I am back and I shall be posting more often. :D This is an outfit I wore to dinner while in England.

I absolutely adore this skirt (River Island), I love the grecian style draping on the left side, and the way it tapers off to the right. I think the colour is great as it can go with a lot of things. I also love the sparkles in it that make it a bit more dressy, and I do really like the fact that it makes me feel like a mermaid when I wear it... :D I put the skirt with a simple black cropped t-shirt (American Apparel) I wanted the skirt to be the feature of the outfit, as there is already a lot going on. I put my hair up in what's called a faux-hawk, because it looks kind of like a Mohawk, but I created it by tying several small buns down the centre of my head. I also added one of my many bows to the top. I accessorised with my black butterfly belt, my black studded clutch (Warehouse), which I am in love with at the moment, and black heels with black and grey detailing. For my make-up I applied a silver sparkly shadow all over the lid, which I accentuated with a matt black shadow to the outer edges, I applied mascara and black kohl eye liner.
