Dark Floral

Although we are all ready for Spring, it has not yet sprung in the UK, which means it's still quite chilly and very grey indeed. While I'm ready to get my Spring and Summer clothes and colours out, the weather isn't quite appropriate, so, for the time being, I'm sticking to more transitional pieces.

This floral shirt (River Island) is quite versatile and a good transitional piece for this awkward seasonal period, it's silky and lightweight and has some really pretty pops of colour that gives a spring-like feel to the outfit. I paired the shirt with my Joni jeans (Topshop) and black ankle boots (River Island). I threw on a floppy hat (Vintage market- Hawkins Collection) and plaited my hair to the side to keep it from flying in my face thanks to the crazy wind we've been experiencing!

I accessorised with my favourite statement necklace (Wallis) and added my maroon biker jacket (Zara) for when it gets chilly and applied on my favourite deep red year-round lipstick (Rimmel- Kate 107).
