Hello Again and Summer Outfits!
Hi Everyone,
I know it has been another long absence and strictly speaking, I was supposed to start blogging again this summer, but I've had a bit of a crazy time. My family have relocated from Dubai back to England so I have been decorating our new house, sorting books, unpacking furniture, donating clothes and all the fun stuff that comes with moving house. Obviously I've been very busy but that's not the only reason I haven't been blogging, I'm going to be honest with you all here, blogging is hard, it can often feel very disheartening when you put so much effort in and don't feel like you get the readers or the page views. One of my best friends Laura (see her blogpost here and follow her blog it's fabulous and she's one of the loveliest humans I know) put it perfectly in her blog post recently, and although she talks of being lost in a world of fashion blogs (which this blog is) her point hits home. I'm sure at some point all bloggers experience the same feeling and it can be difficult to get back in the saddle, but a kind comment has warmed my heart and I've decided to kickstart this once and for all!
I'm going to kick off this new blogging cycle with a few pictures of my favourite outfits this summer. I know we are now entering Autumn/Winter, but looking at these lovely pictures taken by my wonderful brother (check out his website here) I just couldn't let them go to waste.
On another note, I am considering changing the blog from solely fashion to perhaps a bit of beauty, lifestyle perhaps book or movie reviews, let me know your thoughts if any!
Daisy Blue
This is another favourite outfit of mine that I wish I could wear again and again! Unfortunately it looks like Autumn has decided to make an appearance, after a brief few days of nice weather again, so my croptops and skirts will be going away for a few months.
For this look I paired this floral high neck cropped top (Miss Selfridge- again) with my white lace skirt from Topshop which I also bought last summer. I love the gorgeous colours in this top and to bring out the greens I wore my gorgeous peridot necklace which can be seen in the last image, which was a gift from my wonderful Granddad for my 18th birthday. I straightened my hair and left it loose (which is how I have been wearing it most of the summer since it's getting long now- I'm very excited about this haha) and added my black wedges (New Look) which were a present from my Nan and I adore them! For my make-up I wore a bold pink lip which I toned down a bit by tapping the product on with my finger, a bronze eye and a green eyeshadow near the lash line.
Thank you for reading, I'll try and keep this up!

Daisy Blue
This outfit speaks for itself really, I picked up this blue playsuit from Miss Selfridge, when I spotted it on the hanger I instantly fell in love as I thought it was a dress, when I realised it was a playsuit I was slightly apprehensive. Generally playsuits don't look great on me, I'm very small (5"2) and have a small torso, therefore normal sized playsuits look ridiculous on me, with the crotch hanging somewhere by my knee area. However, this playsuit was different, it was from the petite section and fit perfectly! This is my first playsuit and I completely adore it! At this time in the UK we were having a heatwave, so I felt no need to add a jacket or anything, and paired it with my lace flat from Topshop (last year). I love a good plait and usually I can only just manage a normal 3 strand braid, but I attempted a fishtail plait and for some reason it worked! I love the girliness it adds to the outfit, lets hope I can recreate it again.
