Pearls, Collars and Bows

Hello everyone! 

Sorry I have been so quiet recently, I have been having a bit of a tough time recently, but I'm back and blogging because it always cheers me up! :)

This is an outfit I wore quite a while ago actually, but I never got to post it up, now that summer has well and truly arrived in Dubai (it was 50 degrees celsius the other day- no word of a lie) I am into wearing my cute summer dresses and shorts. I've been shopping recently and there's just SO MUCH that I love, namely anything floral with bows and/or pearls (hence the title of the post).

So! I wore this creamy white(?) dress (Topshop- it's so comfortable and I love how flowy it is, better yet it can be worn with almost anything) with my cream and brown brogues (Forever 21), as I was going for a pretty neutral and earthy look. I added these cute pink and frilly socks (Topshop) and I love how they add a bit of summery quirkiness to the outfit.

 I accessorised with this brown bow belt (Warehouse) and my peter pan pearl collar necklace (Miss Selfridge). Of course I am wearing my wonderful Specs Addict sunglasses,  I am literally IN LOVE with them, better yet, they have my prescription in them, so I can see things too! You all know I love 50's glamour, so these work perfectly for me! I pulled my hair back and wore my feathery hair accessory (gift from by boyfriend's mum Laila) and kept my makeup pretty neutral. 

On my fingernails I am wearing Sally Hanson's 'Complete Salon Manicure' in 'Berry Important'- if you are impatient with doing your nails like I am (I can never be bothered to wait for bottom coat, two coats of colour and then top coat to dry), then this nail polish is for you. It's everything all in one, so you only have to apply one or two coats and you're done- I absolutely love this gorgeous berry colour too!

I had my year 13 prom a couple of days ago, so keep an eye out for what I wore and hair and makeup! Thanks for reading xo
