Smooth Sailing
Hello readers! It's been a while, but I'm ba-ack! This is an outfit that I bought a couple of weekends ago, and I love it :D hope you enjoy xo
For this sailor inspired look, I wore red jeans (Forever 21) with this grey striped shirt (Topshop), and accessorised with my grey Fred Perry shoes and added one of my beloved bows in red (American Apparel).
This is one of my favourite looks overall, its really casual and comfy but still a lovely outfit. I absolutely adore these red jeans, I have some from a few years ago, but they're pretty tight now, and these ones are stretchy, and more like jeggings than jeans, and they were only 75dhs.
I have been looking for a striped shirt for a while now, and finally came across one a couple of weeks ago, I was browsing through the further reductions in Topshop, and came across this bargain. I pulled it out straight away, managing to find my size, and to my surprise it was 10dhs, reduced from 275dhs! I couldn't believe it, what a fab bargain, love it (for those of you in the UK, thats around £2 from £45). So overall, this look cost farily little, the bow was probably more than the shirt and jeans together, which just goes to show you don't have to spend loads to get a good outfit!
For my make-up, I did a grey eye, applying a light grey to the whole of my lids, white to my inner corners and a darker grey to the outer edges of my lid. I've recently changed my mascara, and I like this one, but its more smudgy than the 'They're Real' mascara I had been using from benefit previously, its 'Full Volume' by Bourjois, I also use a bourjois foundation called 'Flower Perfection' it's meant for youthful skin, and I absolutely love it! For my lips, I applied a red lipstick from the Kat Von Dee' collection (I don't have the colour as the container is actually broken) which I got from Sephora in New York when I went a couple of years ago, its a nice lipstick, but quite drying.
