Loving Lilac

Its my boyfriend's birthday today and because of the beautiful weather, we are going for a picnic. This is the summery ensemble I put together. 

I wore this lilac flower patterned maxi skirt (American Apparel) with this cropped white t-shirt (American Apparel) and wore a bright pink contour skirt (H&M) underneath, as the skirt did not come with a lining and was see-through. Celebrating the use of my hair straighteners (I was having some problems with the voltages and adaptors etc), I kept my hair straight and pulled it back off my face with my lilac bow (American Apparel), I finished the outfit off with my denim wedges (Stradivarius). I kept my jewellery simple and wore my rose earrings (Accessorize), thin silver bracelet, which I have had since I was a baby, and my other bracelet with flower detailing (Carboot sale - 25p), 'Danielle' necklace, which was a piece of silver sculpted into shape (Market in Australia), purple belly bar (Ardene). For my eye make-up, I applied a grey sparkly base, and added purple to the inner corner of my eye, I then put a darker grey colour to the outer edge, I finished off my eyes with mascara and black kohl eyeliner. I also have on a dark pink lip stain,  but it isn't really visible. I also wore my purple bag which is pictured below, with the outfit. :)
